Latinas Unidas held their holiday party at the Enterprise Center on Thursday, December 14th. Diva Mejias, the Chairperson of the group, had the place decorated and looking fantastic. The party was a huge hit, with over 30 women attending.
Latinas Unidas fosters an environment where women of various cultures come together as a sisterhood. Each month a member serves as a host to a meeting that features a guest speaker. Topics range from education to volunteerism to family and health. As a non-profit organization, the group continues to evolve and serve as a change agent in the Latina/o community.
